Homemade Wing dipping Ranch

There are ranch dressings… and then there’s this.
When it comes to wings, I’m picky about my dip. I want something creamy, cool, and packed with that homemade flavor that just hits different. After plenty of kitchen experimenting (and taste testing during family wing nights), this ranch became a staple in our house, so much so that we literally call it “Wing Dipping Ranch.”

It’s bold. It’s garlicky. And it’s loaded with fresh herbs that make bottled ranch taste like an afterthought.

The Ingredients
This recipe makes about 3 cups - enough for a crowd (or one very committed wing lover).
1 cup mayonnaise - the creamy foundation
1 cup sour cream - adds tang and body
1 cup buttermilk - thins it out to perfect dipping consistency
1 heaping tablespoon fresh dill - that signature ranch flavor
3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
4 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
8 garlic cloves, finely chopped (yes, eight - go big or go home!)
1 tablespoon Kinder’s Garlic & Herb seasoning - for a flavor boost
½ tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika - a little warmth and color
Directions
In a large bowl, whisk together the mayo, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
Stir in the fresh herbs - dill, parsley, and chives.
Add the garlic, Kinder’s seasoning, onion powder, and paprika.
Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors develop. (Overnight is even better!)

Sincerely Chef Mom Tips
If you want it extra garlicky, roast a few cloves before adding them in.
For thicker dipping consistency, cut the buttermilk in half. For thinner consistency, add more!
Want some heat? Add a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce or cayenne.
Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to a week - if it lasts that long!
Pair this creamy homemade ranch with my Cajun Garlic Wings, or BBQ Wings - the ultimate game-day combo.
Whether it’s game day, BBQ night, or just a Friday dinner with wings and laughter around the table, this ranch shows up every single time.
