With just the right amount of Cajun spice, buttery garlic goodness, and a perfectly crispy texture, these wings are incredibly easy to make in the air fryer. No deep frying, no mess-just bold, mouthwatering flavor in every bite!

Rinse the chicken wings under cold running water, then lay them on a clean towel and pat them completely dry to remove any excess moisture - this step is key for achieving crispy wings!

In a large bowl, add your chicken wings and seasoning and toss so all of your chicken wings are evenly coated.

For maximum flavor and texture - let these wings marinade 30 minutes - 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Place in a single layer in your airfryer - avoid stacking. This ensures even cooking and a perfect crisp on our wings!

Cook for 10 minutes and flip and continue cooking another 5 minutes. After your first 15 minutes of cooking, remove wings from airfryer and place in a large bowl with your butter mixture. Gently toss your wings until evenly coated in your butter mixture. The wings will be hot enough to melt the softened butter.

Ingredients: (Makes 18-22 Wings)

  • Easily double or triple this recipe to feed a crowd!

For the Wings:

18 - 22 chicken wings, washed and patted completely dry

1/4 cup Cajun garlic seasoning (I use Weber’s)

1 tbsp garlic salt

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp cornstarch

For the Cajun Garlic Butter:

3 tbsp butter, softened

1/2 tbsp finely chopped garlic

1 heaping tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Instructions:

Step 1: Prep the Wings

1. Wash and pat dry your wings completely. Removing excess moisture is the key to crispy wings!

2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with Cajun garlic seasoning, garlic salt, baking powder, and cornstarch.

3. Cover and let the wings marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour. This allows the flavors to develop for maximum taste.

Step 2: Air Fry for Ultimate Crispiness

4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. This ensures even cooking and crispier wings.

5. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not stack! Overcrowding will prevent them from crisping up properly.

6. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 3: Coat in Cajun Garlic Butter

7. While the wings are cooking, make the garlic butter sauce:

  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, fresh chopped garlic, and parsley until well combined.

8. Once the wings have finished cooking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl and toss them in the Cajun garlic butter until evenly coated.

Step 4: Final Crisp & Serve!

9. Place the coated wings back into the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes to allow the butter to soak in and crisp up the skin.

10. Ensure the wings reach a safe internal temperature before serving (165°F). Be careful not to overcook them!

11. Plate your wings with your favorite dipping sauce - ranch, blue cheese, or even a Cajun aioli and watch them disappear!
